FWD:MVMT is a proposed lifestyle brand making the move from an online shop to a retail shop in Soho, a trendy neighborhood in downtown Manhattan known for its boutique shops and art galleries.
The shop’s design will encompass the company’s vision of evolution and innovation surrounding skate culture. Although skateboarding was seen as a rebellious hobby in the 1970s, the subculture has evolved into a modern and ubiquitous lifestyle. This transformation will be reflected in the interior, featuring timeless textures like wood, brick, and concrete, creating a modern, yet familiar industrial atmosphere for skaters. FWD:MVMT represents the vibrant and diverse character of modern skate culture.

Construction Documents
The proposed brand and design concept was the basis for developing a set of construction documents using AutoCAD in my Working Drawings class. The challenge was to prepare a set of drawings to fine-tune the scope of work and obtain cost estimates and a construction time frame.
